Safety Measures for In-Clinic Appointments

We are following best practice standards to ensure the safety of our clients and therapists.

Before your appointment:

  1. You will receive a COVID screening survey by email approximately 4 hours before your appointment. Please complete it before you arrive to the clinic.
  2. New clients: please ensure that you have logged into the portal and completed the “New Client Policies 2022″ form  and the “Orthopedic Intake” OR “Pelvic Health Intake” forms. You will have an opportunity to further discuss these policies with your physiotherapist and ask any questions at your first appointment.
  3. Please do not come to the clinic: 

If you have any of the symptoms below:

      • fever and/or chills
      • new onset of cough or worsening chronic cough
      • shortness of breath
      • decrease or loss of sense of taste or smell
      • if adult>18 years of age: unexplained fatigue/lethargy/malaise/muscle aches (myalgias)
      • if child<18 years of age: nausea/vomiting, diarrhea
    • if you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days or have been told you should be isolating
    • if you are not fully immunized and you have travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days AND/OR have had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 without wearing appropriate PPE

    If you have any symptoms above, please call our receptionist to reschedule your appointment to a telehealth appointment or to reschedule your appointment to an alternate day.  A cancellation fee will not apply if you cancel your appointment for any of the above reasons.

  1. Please plan to come to your appointment alone unless it is essential that another person accompany you.
  2. Please bring a mask to your appointment.

Arriving for your appointment:

  1. Please arrive for your appointment if possible no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to limit the number of clients in the waiting room and to allow for social distancing within the clinic.
  2. Please enter the clinic wearing a mask. There are disposble masks available at the entrance if needed.
  3. Please sanitize your hands at the clinic entrance.
  4. Please maintain a 6-ft (2 metre) distance from any other client or practitioner who is not treating you. If a client is coming up the stairs, please give them the priority and wait in the waiting room before going down the stairs.
  5. There will be a small, wipeable bin in the clinic room where you can place your personal items.

At the end of your appointment:

  1. Payments are accepted by debit and e-transfer.
  2. All receipts will be emailed.
  3. Please sanitize your hands before leaving the clinic.
