Infection Control Policy

We remain committed to prioritizing the health and safety of our patients by adhering to the latest guidelines. Our measures include a mask-optional policy, thorough disinfection of treatment areas and high-touch surfaces, the use of HEPA filters, and, when weather permits, open ventilation in our clinic rooms.
Please note that we offer Telehealth physiotherapy appointments as a safe and convenient alternative to in-clinic appointments, in the case where you have any medical or other concerns about attending an appointment in person.
If you have any of the symptoms below, not related to other known causes, or if you’ve tested positive for COVID-19, please visit https://www.ontario.ca/self-assessment/ to get a recommendation of what to do next:
  • dry cough
  • shortness of breath
  • loss of taste or smell
  • extreme tiredness, called fatigue
  • digestive symptoms such as upset stomach, vomiting or loose stools, called diarrhea
  • pain, such as headaches and body or muscle aches
  • fever or chills
  • cold-like symptoms such as congestion, runny nose or sore throat
Please come to your appointment wearing a well-fitted mask if you’ve had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 10 days, but do not have a fever and your symptoms have been improving for 24 hours or longer (48 hours if you had nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea).
Please self-monitor for symptoms and come to your appointment wearing a well-fitted mask if you were identified as a close contact of someone with symptoms or with COVID-19, for 10 days after your last exposure to the COVID-19 positive or symptomatic person.
Please note that our clinic remains a mask-friendly environment. We continue to offer masks at the clinic entrance. Our therapists are also happy to wear masks at any time if that is the client’s preference. If you are sick, please call our receptionist at 613-291-2956 to reschedule your appointment or to change your appointment to Telehealth.

Thank you for your continued support!
