Appointment Cancellation Policy & Fees
48 Business-Hour Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly ask for 48 business hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient in need of treatment.
Cancellations or changes must be made by calling our reception team at (613) 291-2956, Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Please note that we are closed on weekends and do not accept cancellations by email.
To clarify how business hours apply:
- Monday appointments must be cancelled by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Thursday
- Tuesday appointments must be cancelled by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, as this policy helps us manage our schedule and continue providing timely care to all patients.
Fees
Our administrative assistant will follow up to arrange payment for late cancellation or missed appointment fees.
Payments can be made by e-transfer to admin@core-connections.ca.
- Appointments cancelled with less than 48 business hours’ notice will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled appointment cost.
- Missed appointments (no-shows) will be subject to a fee equal to the full cost of the scheduled appointment.
Exceptions
We understand that unexpected situations may occur. Exceptions to this policy may be considered for sudden illness, family emergencies, or severe weather conditions. Please note that we are unable to make exceptions for work-related conflicts.
Telehealth Appointments
To avoid a late cancellation fee, appointments may be changed to Telehealth (video or phone) by calling (613) 291-2956. Telehealth is a convenient option for work, childcare and transportation challenges, or severe weather.
Late Arrival Policy
If you are running late for your appointment, please call us to let us know. While we are unable to extend appointment times, we’ll do our best to provide care within the remaining time. The full appointment fee will still apply.
