Terri Robicheau, Physiotherapist

Terri Robicheau

Terri has practiced as a registered physiotherapist for over 10 years in Atlantic Canada. She graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University, followed by a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy degree from Dalhousie University.

Terri began her career working in private practice orthopaedics, treating patients with numerous conditions including muscles and joint pain, workplace injuries, and general rehabilitation. Terri uncovered her passion for pelvic health physiotherapy and perinatal care after the birth of her children. She experienced a particularly rocky introduction to breastfeeding and discovered a lack of readily available postpartum care and education for new parents in her home province of Nova Scotia. With hopes of addressing this gap in care, Terri began to seek out training addressing incontinence and pelvic pain and has also completed unique training in physiotherapy for breastfeeding support.

Terri is committed to continuing to expand her professional knowledge in the field of pelvic health physiotherapy in order to provide the best possible care to her clients. Terri uses a thorough approach in her assessments and treatments, ensuring she takes the time to listen to her patients. She feels understanding how their function and overall lifestyle has been affected by their symptoms is an imperative part of the treatment journey. She is passionate about working with her clients and empowering them as they achieve their rehabilitation goals.

In her spare time you’ll find Terri making memories with her husband and three young boys. She enjoys being active, baking, and going on walks with her sweet new puppy.
