Meghan Blanchard, Physiotherapist

Meg picMeghan will be on maternity leave until September 2019. We  look forward to her return.

Meghan graduated from Queen’s University in 2008 with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she attended McMaster University and completed an Honours Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology. Meghan is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and over the past 9 years she has gained extensive experience working within the private physiotherapy sector treating clients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries.

Meghan is committed to enhancing her knowledge and improving her skills, having taken over 20 post-graduate specialized courses in the areas of soft tissue release, acupuncture, treatment and prevention of running injuries and therapeutic taping. Meghan has been focusing on manual therapy and is working towards achieving her Advanced Diploma in Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy.

More recently, Meghan has developed an interest and passion for women’s health and pelvic floor physiotherapy, completing courses related to the treatment of incontinence & pelvic pain, and assisting athletes to return to                                                                                sport successfully.

Meghan enjoys working with people of all ages and is dedicated to assisting individuals reach their optimal level of physical functioning.

In her spare time, Meghan enjoys spending time with her husband, young daughter and golden lab. She is passionate about maintaining an active lifestyle and enjoys Crossfit, trying new healthy recipes, playing the piano and weekends outdoors at the cottage!
